First visit to Paso Robles Country Club

Twelve MBGFR members participated in our first tournament at Paso Robles Country Club on Saturday, June 9. Format was four person best ball and the winning team consisted of Bob Wyrick, Doug Berg, Jim Pescatore and Darius Engles. Their team score was 125.

Closest to the flagstick money went to Geary Engles on #3 and Bob Wyrick on #13.

Although the course was just 6,000 yards, the par 3s were long and there were several very long par 4s. Player consensus was to include Paso Robles Country Club on our tournament schedule again next year.

Nineteen Players Enjoyed Diablo Grande

The MBGFR attracted 19 players to our return to Diablo Grande Golf Course on May 12.

This was a four person team event and the winners were new member Kevin Spencer, Don Hutton, Jerry Schock and Mike Mehan. Format was one best ball with two best balls required on two three pars.

Closest to the flagstick winners were Jerry Schock on Hole 4 and Bob Wyrick on Hole 17.
