williams a winner at coast two day

Sid WilliamsSid Williams (142) was the overall net winner of our Central Coast two day tournament held August 4 and 5.

Second place for the two day money went to Mike Laughlin (145) and Jerry Schock (146) was third.

On day one at Santa Maria Country Club, Sid (91-71) edged Mike Laughlin (80-71) in a card off and Geary Engles (96-74) finished third.

On Sunday at Cypress Ridge Golf Club, Tom McKinney (82-67) fired a net 67 for first place. Second place went to Craig Vejvoda (87-70) and Don Hutton (83-70) was third.

Closest to the flagstick money on Saturday went to Mike Laughlin and Sunday's prize money went to Craig Vejvoda, Tom McKinney and Laughlin.

Competitors enjoyed two days of beautiful Central Coast weather and Don Hutton arranged a group dinner on Saturday evening at A. J. Spurs.

Pescatore prevails at Tahoe

Jim PescatoreJim Pescatore (147) won overall low net honors at our recent two day event in Truckee. Second low net went to Kevin Spencer (148) and Jerry Schock (150) was third.

Play began on Saturday, July 14, at Gray's Crossing and Mike Mehan (68) took home low net money in a card-off over Jim Pescatore (68). Jerry Schock (70) was third.

On Sunday at Old Greenwood, Jim Brock (75) was first low net, Kevin Spencer (76) was second and Jerry Schock (78) again was third.

Saturday's closest to the flagstick winners were Gary Paden and Mike Laughlin and Tom McKinney and Doug Dinjian claimed the C-T-P cash on Sunday.

The group enjoyed dinner at Truckee's Bar of America on Saturday evening.
